Description:

Join us for an evening of discussion by Nationally recognized artists, Linda and Scott Cylinder and musical entertainment by Pittsburgh ensemble Chatham Baroque. Linda and Scott Cylinder create pieces out of disassembled and repurposed musical instruments, transforming a once aural implement into a visual one. The Cylinders will talk about their artistic process and how their love of music has directed them to an exploration of musical instruments. Chatham Baroque plays lively interpretations of 17th- and 18th-century music played on period instruments. They will perform a 30-minute concert following the artistic discussion. The talk and concert are free of charge, but please R.S.V.P. in advance to 412.261.7003, x12, or development@contemporarycraft.org.
