Our Lady of Grace Church in Scott Township will host the groundbreaking film series “Catholicism” Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30pm, April 26 through June 28.
From the sacred lands of Israel to the beating heart of Uganda, from the glorious shrines of Italy, France and Spain to the streets of Mexico, Kolkata and New York City, discover the full meaning of the Catholic faith. Hear for yourself from creator and host Fr. Robert Barron precisely what Catholics believe and why, while being immersed in the art, architecture, literature and practices of the Catholic tradition.
Produced and directed by father-son team Mike and Matt Leonard, “Catholicism” was filmed in 50 locations throughout 15 countries, in breathtaking, high-definition cinematography. As intelligent as it is beautiful, this epic media experience offers a vision of the Catholic Faith which has never before been seen.
Practicing Catholics, those with Catholic roots and anyone seeking to encounter the spiritual and artistic treasures of a global culture that claims more than one billion of the earth’s people are invited and welcome to attend.
