The taste and sound of New Orleans will be presented at a Mardi Gras celebration sponsored by St. Martin de Porres Parish on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the parish social hall from 6 – 10 pm. The menu will include jambalaya, shrimp in wine and butter sauce (Shrimp Etoufee), crown pork sandwich, red beans and rice, chicken strips and creole chicken strips. Music will be provided by the group, MIXX. Tickets for admission are $6 for adults and $2 for children 4 – 10 years old. Children under 3 years will be admitted free. Guests can bring their own drinks. Beer and mixers will be available. The social hall is located at the corner of Market Street and Eighth Avenue, McKeesport.
